BOX SCORE

SYNOPSIS
Three after three after three after three.

That’s pretty much what happened. The Rockets couldn’t seem to miss from the outside and finished 23-for-40 from the outside and tied the NBA record for three-pointers made.

Jeremy Lin finished with 28 points, nine assists, and five of the team’s three-pointers. James Harden had 18 points, seven assists, and four threes. Chandler Parsons had four threes.

TURNING POINT
The Rockets started the second half on a 18-6 run to transform what was already a nice 15-point halftime lead to a 95-68 blowout. The three-pointers just kept raining down and raining into the net.

FROM THE FIELD
The Rockets shot 46-for-91 for 50.5 percent from the field. And yes, they were even better from distance, shooting 23-for-40 for 57.5 percent. Just completely out of this world.

AT THE LINE
The three-point shooting was so deadly that it rivaled the team’s free throw shooting for the game. Houston shot 25-35 for 71.4 percent.

HIGHLIGHT REEL
Just check every single three the Rockets hit. Jeremy Lin had a few nice drives to the hoop. He also had a nice set-up to Omer Asik for a dunk. Patrick Beverly also threw down a jam late in the game as fans were rooting for a 24th three-pointer

UP NEXT
The Rockets leave immediately for the defending NBA champion Miami Heat on the road. It’s always a tough road going against the King and all the King’s men, but the Rockets very nearly knocked the Heat off earlier this season.
