Rockets pick up option on Jones, Motiejunas

As expected the Houston Rockets have picked up the third-year option on the contracts of forward Terrence Jones and forward/center Donatas Motiejunas.

Jones played in 19 games during his rookie season last year averaging 5.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.00 blocks. He was selected by Houston with the 18th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. 

Motiejunas was the 20th overall selection by Minnesota in the 2011 NBA Draft. The Rockets acquired his draft rights from the Timberwolves on June 24, 2011. During his rookie season with the Rockets, Motiejunas averaged 5.7 points and 2.1 rebounds, while stating 14 of his 44 games played.
