Just when it looked like the Houston Rockets were starting to get healthy, things have changed once again. They will face the Sacramento Kings late Sunday afternoon without Jeremy Lin who is suffering from back spasms.
Lin was apparently injured in the game against Golden State on Friday night. It will be the seventh game Lin has missed this season. He missed six games with a right knee sprain, but had returned to action to begin this three game west coast road trip. He scored 13 points over the two games, making just three of his hi eight shots.
Forward Terrence Jones is game-time decision with flu-like symptoms. He has started the last 16 games for Houston, averaging 12.2 points and 8.1 rebounds in that role.
Rockets assistant coach Kelvin Sampson will once again be acting head coach with head coach Kevin McHale still away from the team following the passing of McHale’s mother last Tuesday night.
