Omer Asik and the Rockets dominated inside in their win over the Nets.
Before the game, Kevin McHale had mentioned how important it was for Asik to have a good game, considering the big guy was matched up against Brook Lopez, who could definitely make a case for saying he deserved to be in the All-Star Game.
Asik stepped up to the plate with 20 points (on 9-12 shooting) and 16 rebounds. Lopez still had a solid game (21 points, 7 rebounds), but as a whole, the Rockets physically dominated their counterparts.
Houston outrebounded the Nets 50-31. They outscored the Nets in the paint 60-24. Marcus Morris had 10 rebounds off the bench.
All in all, that was part of the complete game featured by the Rockets that led to a very complete win.
