Report: Rockets sign Morey to extension

The Rockets season ended on Friday but the team is hoping for plenty more.

And Daryl Morey will be around for a while.

According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, general manager Morey has signed a four-year exension to stay with the Rockets. The deal has been in the works since the All-Star break, according to the report.

The Rockets finished with a 45-37 record and made it to the playoffs with the eighth seed in the Western Conferecne.

Morey has constructed this team, which includes trading for franchise player James Harden.
