Patterson dominates; Lin speaks with fans (Chinese)
In this edition of the Mandarin Minute, Howard Chen explains how Patrick Patterson came to the Rockets' rescue and watch Jeremy Lin celebrate Lunar New Year with Red Nation.
Patterson scored 12 straight points at one juncture of the fourth quarter to stretch what was a close game to a commanding 101-93 lead.
James Harden had his first career triple double with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Three different Rockets scored at least 20 points. Jeremy Lin had a solid all-around game with nine points, eight assists, and also had three steals.
After the game, Lin met with about 400-500 fans who came out for the Rockets' Lunar New Year promotion where the fans could meet and greet him. Lin talked with the fans, answered questions, and took some pictures with them.
"This was big time," Lin said. "We could hear them all night, so I love their support, love the banners, the posters, and all that, so I feel thankful for that. It's awesome."
The Rockets have now won four of their last five games.
