If you’re a fan of the Rockets and sometimes sit and watch James Harden with amazement, you’re not alone.

One of his biggest fans just happens to share the floor and the basketball with him.

“I’ll literally look at him and be like ‘you’re cold-blooded,’” Rockets starting forward Chandler Parsons said. “Even just little things, he just sees and makes passes. His Eurostep tonight, it was one of those Eurosteps where he’s just an unbelievable scorer.”

Harden had another incredible game on Friday night. He scored 35 points on 13-of-16 shooting. He didn’t miss a shot until the second half. Oh yeah, and he dished out 11 assists to go with seven rebounds.

“He can score. I wish I could say he should pass the ball more but he got a lot of assists too,” Parsons said. “He’s taking good shots, he’s getting to the rack. He can hurt you in so many different ways it’s incredible.”

Over his last two games, Harden has scored 71 points with 19 rebounds and 18 assists with just seven turnovers. Since their seven-game losing streak, the Rockets have gone 7-3 and Harden has really picked his game up as the Rockets near the All-Star break.

“He’s not forcing. He’s way more passive,” Parsons said. “He’s being more of a playmaker than a scorer and I always knew he could do that. I think early on, he was pressing so hard to score, score, score and now he’s trusting us and believing in his teammates more, which is allowing him to open up way more freedom. And he’s getting way more assists. He’s just contributed so many other ways other than scoring.”
