Chandler Parsons was sick, in multiple meanings of the word.
Parsons couldn't practice Monday due to flu-like symptoms. He came back for Tuesday's shootaround and said he felt better at the time, but afterwards, he said he felt "terrible" during the game. Somehow, he still managed to play a game-high 42:49 and finish with 20 points and five rebounds.
"You know what? When you play a team like the Lakers and you guard a guy like Kobe, you get up for it," Parsons said. "My teammates did a great job finding me and they made my job a lot easier tonight."
