Kelvin Sampson didn't hesitate when asked if Tuesday night was Jeremy Lin's best so far as a Houston Rocket.
"No question. Without a doubt," Sampson said. "Best game he's played. Swagger... I thought he got his swagger back against New York.
"He came back yesterday (Monday) and got a lot of shots up. He's been working hard with his shooting. You work at something, you're probably going to get better at it. But his confidence, his mojo, swagger, whatever you want to call it, he looks more comfortable on the court."
Lin ranked the game up there among his games this season, saying, "The thing that I thought that was good about what I did was I was patient, I think within the flow of the game. I think that's something I didn't do a great job of early on in the season. And so for me, this was a good step in the right direction.and I'm thankful to God for it, for sure."
Lin finished with 16 points and 10 assists, to only three turnovers. He also had three steals and four rebounds, winning his point guard matchup against Kyle Lowry in Lowry's return to Houston.
