Parsons ribs Lin about Harvard in NCAAs
Jeremy Lin's pick to win the NCAA basketball tournament? Of course it's Harvard.
Lin starred for the Crimson from 2006-2010.
And so, as the NCAA tournament started Tuesday with play-in games, he talked about his Crimson as potential title contenders.
"I've got Harvard going all the way," Lin said. "I don't have anybody else winning any other game. So I might be biased, but whatever."
Chandler Parsons responded to the bold prediction.
"Harvard's in the tournament?" Parsons joked. "I think he's talking about the NIT. Yeah. They're not in the NCAA tournament."
Parsons went to Florida for his college ball. So obviously, when it came time for his prediction...
"No question (they're going all the way)," Parsons said. "They've got a tough bracket though. I don't like the draw they got. I'm hoping Minnesota (where Kevin McHale played his college ball) dominates UCLA so I can have some bragging rights when Florida dominates them, but I think they're going all the way. I'm going to do a little bracket today, figure it out, but no question Florida wins."
Let the tournament begin.
