Lin on Game 3: 'Not making any promises'

One day after he got hurt, Jeremy Lin had his injury checked out. MRI results show he has a bruised right chest muscle.

Lin's status for Saturday's Game 3 is being listed as day-to-day.

The point guard was injured in Wednesday's Game Two during the first half in a collision with the Thunder's Thabo Sefolosha. Lin tried to come on the court for the start of the second half, but the pain from the muscle contusion was too great, forcing him to the locker room for the remainder of the contest.

To that point, Lin was having a solid all-around game, with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists in a first half where the Rockets' small-ball strategy showed several encouraging signs of working.

"This is easily the most frustrating thing that's happened this entire season," Lin said after the game on Wednesday night. "Having been healthy the whole season, and then the second half of a playoff game where we're playing well, Game Two, yeah. It speaks for itself."
