Jeremy Lin, entering his second year with the Rockets, is ready to play with Dwight Howard.

According to the Associated Press, Lin told reporters in Beijing that he's looking forward to playing with the Rockets' new superstar and he's also looking forward to running the pick-and-roll with Howard.

"We're not yet in Houston and haven't trained together so I don't know yet," Lin said.

"But he really likes to play pick-and-roll and I really like to play pick-and-roll, so I hope we can work really well together and really happily learn how to play with each other."

Lin is part of a young nucleus of talent on the Rockets, along with James Harden and Chandler Parsons. Lin, 25, is entering the second year of his three-year, $25 million contract. Lin said it was too early to talk about his future with the Rockets.

"Right now I know there's always speculation about what might happen," Lin said, "but I haven't made any decisions I haven't thought about it and I'm going to approach that question when the time comes."

After a playoff appearance last season, the addition of Howard has put the Rockets in title contention, at least on paper. Howard is considered one of the best big men in the game, even after a down season with the Lakers last year.
