Taipei shows up for Lin
The Rockets wrapped up their Asian tour in Taipei with a second consecutive win over Pacers 107-98.
The game was a showcase for the NBA in general, and Jeremy Lin in particular, and Lin didn’t disappoint the fans. Lin, whose parents were both born in Taiwan, scored 17 points and had four assists in the game.
Lin was part of a big effort by the Rockets backcourt. James Harden led the Rockets with 21 points and Francisco Garcia added 15.
Dwight Howard played 24 minutes for Houston, finishing with 10 points and six rebounds.
The Rockets were hot from the outside, hitting 15 of 33 three point attempts.
The Rockets jumped on a plane after the game to make the return trip back to the United States. The team spent the last week in Manila and Taipei, playing exhibition games against the Pacers in both cities.
