The Rockets completely transformed themselves in the second half to beat the Timberwolves on Friday night 108-100.

In the first half, the Rockets had eight assists to 15 turnovers. That's bad.

In the second half, the Rockets had 17 assists to only three turnovers. That's really good.

And it was made better with the victory after the Rockets had been down 57-39 at the break.

Kevin McHale complimented both Jeremy Lin and James Harden afterwards.

"I thought Jeremy's defense in the second half, his intensity, his defense was really as big of a part of us turning that thing around as James' offensive flow," McHale said.

Offensively, both were dynamic, combining for 61 points. Harden scored 37 points with eight assists and seven rebounds. Lin had 24 points with eight assists and four steals.

It all made for happy Friday night ending for the Rockets in a win over the Timberwolves.
