After Jeremy Lin's 38-point outburst without James Harden on Monday, the pair combined for 41 points on Wednesday evening during the team's 99-93 win over the Wizards.
Harden scored 31 of those points on 10-20 shooting and made a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line. He also contributed three steals.
Lin scored 10 points on 4-8 shooting. He also had five rebounds and six assists.
Overall, it may not have seemed like his Monday performance, but his play on Wednesday certainly could be considered solid.
Asked what he thought about his aggression (something he discussed earlier in the day - to have an aggressive mentality), Lin said, "I didn't think I was really too passive or over-aggressive. I thought I was right in the middle, but I thought on their pick-and-roll coverages, they made it an emphasis to keep the big there and make the guard get rid of the ball. Some nights, it's going to be like that."
As far as the backcourt chemistry with him and Harden, Lin said, "We're just continually feeling it through. It's not just me and him. There's five of us. We're just trying to figure it all out, trying to find a happy medium where we're kind of maximizing everybody."
