Lin about Adrian Peterson's recovery: 'It's crazy'
As an athlete who's had to come back from injuries himself, Jeremy Lin knows it's not easy to pull off what Adrian Peterson did during this past NFL season.
Peterson tore his ACL a year ago, only to come back not only quickly, but better than almost any running back in the history of the game, regardless of health. Peterson's regular season ended Sunday with him finishing just nine yards short of Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing mark.
"It's crazy," Lin said. "He went through such a ridiculous injury and kind of went into hibernation for a solid amount of time of the year and now, he's coming out and... I really wanted him to get the record, but they won, so I'm pretty sure he didn't really care too much about the record right now. I mean, it's impressive what he's done, the way he's done it. It's been really fun to watch, really fun to follow."
