Many hockey players get annoyed when they have to adjust to a visor. Jeremy Lin, though, doesn't mind his new mouthguard.

It's something that Lin has adjusted to as he's been continually whacked in the mouth during games, leaving him with a bloody lip on more than one occasion.

It bothered him to where he said it hurt a little bit during postgame interviews after Friday's win over the Timberwolves.

But Lin says the mouthguard isn't too much to adjust to.

"Nothing really," Lin said in explaining the adjustment. "It's just that I can't talk clearly, but they still understand what I'm saying, so (it's) nothing too big."
