The Rockets are still hopeful they will have forward Terrence Jones back for the game Wednesday night against Sacramento. Jones was still limited in what he did at Tuesday's practice because of a thigh bruise.

"He could run a little bit today, but he didn't do any contact," Rockets head coach Kevin McHale said. "He was better than yesterday, we'll see how he feels tomorrow."

Jones missed Monday's 126-113 win against Portland with a left thigh bruise. He had started the previous 34 games and Houston was 22-12 in those games.

The Rockets have yet to beat the Kings, having lost to them both in Sacramento and in Houston already this season, and could certainly use Jones, who had a career high 36 points in his last game.

"I'm getting more treatment all day today, more tomorrow and see where it goes from there," Jones said. "I'm feeling OK, I got up and down today, but no contact, it felt good. I don't know yet (about Wednesday)."
