James Harden says his sore foot is gradually getting better.

Unlike Thursday, when he was held out of practice to rest up, he took part in Saturday's practice leading up to the Warriors game on Sunday.

"It's getting better, getting better," Harden said. "Just doing the the right, correct things with my rehab and massage treatments and stuff like that. So I'm slowly making the progression. It's getting better."

That said, it was still acting up Friday against the Timberwolves, even as Harden was still dropping 37 points against them.

"I just couldn't move it," he said. "Kind of stiff. Kind of sluggish in the first half. Nothing to do with my ankle, just not having the energy. It kind of trickled down to everybody on the team (in the first half). Us coming out slow and not making shots, but in the second half, I think we got it going a little bit."

That they did, as the Rockets pulled off a 20-point comeback to win it.

Kevin McHale was encouraged by what he saw Saturday from Harden.

"James looked good today," McHale said. "He moved around a little bit, did a lot of stuff."
