BOX SCORE

SYNOPSIS

Red Nation’s focus was on the reported trades, but there was a ballgame, folks. And the Rockets pulled off a fourth-quarter comeback to remember with a very short-handed squad. Houston came back from down 107-93 to take the game 122-119. James Harden had 46 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Jeremy Lin had 29 points and eight assists.

TURNING POINT
Down 107-93, the Rockets responded from the midway point in the fourth with a 23-4 run to take the 116-111 lead. That was the spurt the Rockets needed for the win.

FROM THE FIELD
The Rockets shot 44-92 from the field (47 percent). Harden was particularly impressive, getting his 46 points on 14-of-19 shooting.  From three-point land, the Rockets shot 15-for-33 (45 percent).

AT THE LINE
Houston shot 19-for-23 from the line (82 percent).

HIGHLIGHT REEL
Greg Smith slammed one home in the first. Chandler Parsons had back-to-back dunks in the third. Harden beat the buzzer with a half-court heave at the end of the third. And the Rockets won.

UP NEXT
The Rockets hit the road on Friday to face the Nets. But… right now, it’s still time to savor this win with a short-handed squad.
