James Harden, who turned his ankle during Tuesday night's game against the Warriors, will not play on Wednesday night against the Clippers.
The Rockets originally said Harden was expected to start but felt soreness after warming up.
Harden rolled his ankle in the third quarter against the Warriors on David Lee's ankle on his way to the basket. Harden managed to come back in the game and finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
"Man, he was a soldier tonight, for sure," Jeremy Lin said after the game. "So he played through a lot of everything. He hurt his other knee as well. He had a brace on there, so he's definitely banged up, but we're going to take advantage of this All-Star break and get some rest."
