Highlights: Harden leads Rockets past Blazers

James Harden's hot stretch continued on Friday during a 118-103 win over the Blazers.

Harden scored 35 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had 11 assists. He shot 13-16 from the field.

In his previous game against the Het, Harden scored 36, grabbed 12 rebounds, and had seven assists. He shot 10-16 from the field in that game.

In other words, he's averaging 35.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and nine assists in his last two contests.

"I was hoping he wouldn’t miss a shot out there," Patrick Patterson said. "James has been huge for us all  year long. His ability to score, his ability to pass the ball, get high assists, and still rebound... his defense is getting better every single game. And he’s someone we can always rely on on offense and that’s going to continue happening all throughout the rest of the season."

Jeremy Lin added, "Tonight was one of those nights when he makes play after play after play and then you look up and you realize it’s like, 'Oh, looks like he had a great game' and you take it for granted sometimes."

Harden, of course, deferred the credit to his teammates.

"Shots are falling, so it’s opening everything else up," Harden said. "Teammates are knocking down shots. It’s tough to guard us when my teammates are knocking down shots and I’m getting easy layups. So it was a good team effort."
