James Harden will play through any knee soreness he has against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Harden banged his knee in the first quarter of Monday's loss to the Suns. In the first quarter, he shot 4-6 and had 12 points. After the opening 12 minutes, he finished 1-12 for four points the remainder of the game.

"Especially after that first quarter, it kind of tightened up and stiffened up, especially on my jumper," Harden said. "I couldn't explode like I wanted to."

Harden played the rest of the Suns game with his knee wrapped, but he did not need a brace during Wednesday's morning shootaround.

He leads the Rockets in scoring at 25.9 points a game, good for fifth in the league. Harden also averages 5.9 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
