James Harden and Eric Gordon will face each other Wednesday night when the Hornets visit the Rockets. Their history together goes way back.

Both were named McDonald's All-Americans. Not only that, they were on the same West roster for the game itself. Also on that same team? Current Rockets Cole Aldrich and James Anderson, among others.

"I've kind of watched him since I was in high school, growing up, and when he was at Indiana, things like that," Harden said. "It'll be a good matchup, especially when he's healthy and when he's scoring very well. Hopefully, he can get back and get his game back."

The two also competed for the same backup shooting guard spot on Team USA for the most recent Olympics. Harden beat out Gordon for that spot.

Gordon just came back from a knee injury and has played two games. He scored 24 points in 25 minutes last Saturday in his season debut.
