Lin: 'We just couldn't get a rhythm'
For the second time in three games, free throws did not come easy for the Rockets.
This time, the blame couldn't be heaped on Omer Asik, who had shot 1-8 from the line against the Celtics last Friday. That night, the team was 12-29 from the stripe.
On Tuesday against the Clippers, Asik only missed two free throws, going 1-3. However, the Rockets were 14-25 (56 percent). For awhile, the Rockets were shooting better from three-point land than they were from free-throw land.
"It's frustrating, but it'll come back around," Jeremy Lin said. "By the law of averages, we'll be back up soon, so we'll be alright, but some nights it's just weird and funky like that."
