Omer Asik returns to Chicago on Tuesday for the first time since becoming a Houston Rocket.

The center spent his first two NBA seasons with the Bulls. He has elevated his numbers ever since he came to Red Nation. His point production has gone up from 3.1 to 10.6, his rebounding from 5.3 to  11.4, which is good enough for fourth in the league. Asik has double doubles in 12 of his 26 games so far this year.

Former teammate and fellow big man Joakim Noah was asked Monday about Asik's improvement this season.

"It was obvious to me that he was going to play well with more time," Noah said. "We felt like he wasn't getting a lot of playing time when he was here. When he was on the court, he was definitely somebody who affected the game. So I wish him nothing but the best.

"But hopefully, he plays like s*** tomorrow (Tuesday)," he said with a joking smile.

When the Bulls came to the Toyota Center on November 21, Asik scored four points and had six rebounds in just 40 minutes in a Rockets 93-89 victory.
