3-Pointers: Rockets prep for Suns; Asik out
The Rockets announced on Wednesday morning that center Omer Asik will be out for one week with a right thigh contusion. The team said he will be re-evaluated after that time.
Head athletic trainer Keith Jones said Asik suffered the injury a while ago, but it has gotten worse.
Forward Chandler Parsons went through shootaround, which he did not do prior to the game Monday versus Utah. He said he was a game-time decision tonight against Phoenix.
Jeremy Lin (knee) and Greg Smith (knee) are already out for tonight's game.
