Brett Oberholtzer takes the mound on Saturday for the Astros, who are trying to win their fifth straight game as they take on the Angels at 6:10 p.m. in the second game of a three-game series at Minute Maid Park. The Astros won Friday night 9-7 as third baseman Matt Dominguez hit his second career grand slam and second baseman Jose Altuve had a three-run home run. Both are in Saturday’s lineup with Altuve being the designated hitter. Marwin Gonzalez will start at second base.

Oberholtzer suffered a tough loss in his last start. The rookie left-hander allowed only one run and seven hits in six innings in a 2-1 loss at Oakland. Since joining the rotation on July 31, Oberholtzer is 4-2 with a 1.91 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 47 innings over seven starts.

Despite Friday’s loss, the Angels have won seven of nine games and 12 of their last 15 road games. Since his recall on July 28, Kole Calhoun leads all major league rookies with 26 RBIs. Calhoun has driven in a run in 15 of his last 17 games. His stretch of 11 straight road games with a RBI, which was snapped on Friday night, was the longest single-season road RBI streak since Ryan Howard in 2006. Right-hander Jered Weaver will make his first career start against the Astros.
