Division I and II Title Games to Air Live Exclusively on Comcast SportsNet Houston on Dec. 8
HOUSTON ---Comcast SportsNet Houston, a partnership between the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and the NBC Sports Group, today announced the network will serve as the exclusive broadcast home for TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) Division I and II High School Football State Championship games on Dec. 8.
Both games, which take place at Floyd Casey Stadium on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, will air live exclusively on Comcast SportsNet Houston. Coverage begins with the Division II game at 11 a.m.; followed by the Division I contest at 3 p.m. Tom Dore will call the play-by-play action, joined by color analyst Shea Walker and sideline reporter Leila Rahimi.
Four teams in each division have the opportunity to play for state titles. In Division 1, the winner of the Fort Worth Nolan Catholic/Austin St. Michael's game will meet the winner of the Dallas Bishop Lynch/Addison Trinity Christian Academy contest. In Division II, the winner of the Midland Christian/Dallas Christian game will play the winner of the Houston Second Baptist/Houston Northland Christian game.

Comcast SportsNet Houston's high school football coverage this season has included six live editions of the Thursday Night Game of the Week, in addition to Saturday morning re-airings of Friday night contests featuring top teams and rivalries from throughout the region.
